With over a decade of industry experience and a professional background as a CAD designer, Dan, with the help of his team, expertly interprets the electrical output needs of our OEM clients and translates them into clear, comprehensive drawings. These drawings guide both our client's production and our manufacturing team, ensuring seamless execution of custom wiring harnesses. Dan is an expert in designing systems to meet survey performance requirements. His leadership and expertise are essential in consistently delivering high-quality, tailored solutions that meet our clients' specific needs.

Jay is our dedicated Production Manager, overseeing the entire manufacturing process and production of our harnesses and products. He leads the production team with a focus on efficiency, quality and delivery in full and on time. Jay plays a crucial role in managing relationships and coordinating production order forecasting with the OEM clients we partner with. His collaboration with their production and procurement teams ensures seamless operations and timely delivery of high-quality products. Jay’s leadership and expertise are pivotal in maintaining the exceptional standards that Connex is known for.

Scott, our BDM, has over a decade of experience in the marine and automotive industries, specifically with regard to OEM products and their electrical systems. Bringing a wealth of knowledge on the topic, he is adept at working with OEMs to find solutions for their products and efficiencies in their production. Scott helps clients design and fit new harnesses, meeting them on-site at their production facility, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. His experience and commitment make him an invaluable resource for our clients and the business.

Matt, the Owner and Director of Connex, founded the company in 2002 in Auckland, New Zealand. Leveraging his background in electrical maintenance within the marine industry, Matt recognised a growing need and demand from the market for customised electrical systems. Too often, boats were being wired inefficiently and electrical components were not application-specific. Initially Matt developed the waterproof switch panel which remains a staple product today and is used industry-wide. This innovation led to the development of wiring harnesses and more advanced systems. Since then, he has steered Connex into an industry leader within a variety of sectors, catering to a wide range of OEM clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
